Set in extensive grounds, Burleigh is a two-form entry community school in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. Originally separate infant and junior schools, it was amalgamated in 1995. The junior building was built in 1948 and is grade II listed.
The school grounds are vast and comprise of several tarmacced playground areas, a school field that encompasses both buildings and a conservation area. The pupils are encouraged to experience and enjoy their outdoor school environment.
